Amazon Purchase Check is a Chrome extension that helps users avoid accidental instant-purchase actions and makes seller / shipper information easier to notice before purchase on supported Amazon product pages. The extension works locally in the browser and does not provide online services, user accounts, or cloud storage.

2. Information the Extension Accesses

The extension may access the following information only on supported Amazon pages where the extension runs:

• Visible page text and DOM structure, for the purpose of identifying likely instant-purchase controls
• Visible seller / shipper information shown on the Amazon page
• Extension settings stored through Chrome storage, such as selected language and warning message text

3. How Information Is Used

The extension uses accessed information only to:

• Show a confirmation modal before a likely instant-purchase action continues
• Display seller / shipper information near the product title
• Support extension UI language selection and per-language warning messages
• Enable or disable extension features based on user settings

4. Data Sharing and Transmission

The extension does not send browsing data, purchase data, seller data, or page contents to external servers. The extension does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties. The extension does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or remote logging.

5. Data Storage

Amazon Purchase Check stores only extension settings through Chrome storage, such as selected language, enabled features, and warning message text. The extension does not maintain user accounts or cloud-based data storage.

6. Remote Code

The extension does not use remote code. All executable code required for the extension is packaged with the extension itself.

7. User Control

Users can enable or disable the main features from the options page and can uninstall the extension at any time. If seller / shipper information is not shown on the page, the extension hides its display block instead of showing placeholder data.
